Happy like a monkey with a big banana
this is what I feel like today.
I had a really nice weekend
it involved a good-looking man in Reading who took really good care of me and made sure I slept like a baby at night...
It involved a good friend saving me from Elephant & Castle and taking me back to Maida Vale, a good night out, a few handsome men who wanted me, new photos for my gaydar profile who have done wonders, a Romanian man who liked me when I least expected me..
so here I am again..
loads of work but hopeful..
and I lost a kilo!

Once I Pass'd through a Populous City
Walt Whitman's poem before it was self-censored into a heterosexual version
Once I Pass'd through a Populous City
Once I pass'd through a populous city impriting my brain
for future use with its shows, architecture, customs,
traditions,
Yet now of all that city I remember only a man who wandered with me,
there, for love of me
Day by day and night by night we were together - all else
has long been forgotten by me,
I remember I say only that man who passionately clug
to me,
Again we wander, we love, we separate again,
Again he holds me by the hand, I must not go,
I see him close beside me with silent lips sad and
tremulous.
